Bespoke Ares Ring

Bespoke Ring. Ares the ancient Greek God of the war, one of the twelve Olympians. The son of Zeus and Hera. I loved working on this wonderful ring, the customer that order this commission is writing a book on Ares. The ring is made of solid sterling silver, 77g on a 5 cm long shield, it’s carved with Aphrodite riding a Swan in one of the sides and the Spartan shield on the other.   The inside of the ring is engraved with ἀλαλή the war cry in Greek mythology and Ἄρης in ancient Greek.   I loved working on this beautiful commission and I would love to carve more pieces in this style.
